Hello! My name is Bethany Halladay! I am a returning teacher to ACS. This will be my 1st year as Principal, but my 5th year as a teacher here. This is also my 9th year teaching. I previously taught for 3 years in Massachusetts and 1 year in Louisiana. I am excited to work with such a great team! In my free time my husband Jon and I love to be with our kitties, Mickey and Cora. We also love to explore new places and learn all about God's beautiful handiwork. I am looking forward to a great school year!
Sara Ensign grew up here in Fort Wayne. She has been involved with Aboite Christian School since her early Childhood. She is a graduate of Purdue University at Fort Wayne.
Beth is a recent addition to the ACS staff. She moved here a few years ago from California. Working in the corporate world and owning a fashion store name some of her past achievements. She is grateful to be lending her talents to Aboite Christian School.
Nancy has been with us for 4 years. She is a retired English teacher. She loves to spend time with the ACS students she services
My name is Nathan Crabtree. Rock climbing and hiking are some interests of mine and I love to explore National Parks. I hail from the great state of North Carolina. I moved to California to attend Weimar University. Following God’s leading, I pursued an education degree and through His sustaining grace I graduated from Weimar with a Bachelors in Christian Education. In my last semester I prayed that God would send me to the school where He wanted me to be, and He did just that by bringing me to Fort Wayne Indiana. This is my second-year teaching here at Aboite Christian School and I am thoroughly enjoying the opportunity that God has given me. My lovely wife and I have been married since June, 2023. She hails from New Zealand, and we met in college in the education program. She currently works as a curriculum designer.
Hello! My name is Abigail Hernandez and I joined Aboite Christian School in 2022! I believe God has called me into teaching from a very young age, and I responded to His calling six years ago at an Adventist school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Through my experience, I have learned that teaching is much more than academics; it is a mission field. I believe teaching students how to show honor and integrity, be service-oriented, and to have a relationship with Christ is just as important. The Lord continues to bless me personally as well as the students as we go through the Adventist Bible curriculum. Together, we learn more about God, His promises, His love, and His gift of eternal life. Before becoming a teacher in the Adventist school system, I earned an Associates degree of Liberal Arts and Sciences, a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and recently completed a North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists teacher certification. My husband and I have been married for a little over three years and felt it was time to move closer to my family in the midwest. Now we are settling nicely into the sweet and homey Fort Wayne area!
My name is Jo Wagner. I’ve been teaching pre-k for over forty years. I’ve been married to Tom for almost 44 years. We have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. We moved to Fort Wayne from Wabash in 2021. I’m very happy to be an assistant teacher at Aboite Christian School. I look forward to working with your children.
